Community First Aid Responders

Community First Aid Responders (CFARs) are laypersons within the community who have been certified to operate within an emergency response system. CFARs play a key role in recognizing signs of danger, assessing scene safety, performing simple live-saving interventions, and transporting patients to health facilities.

Together with the Paediatric Blast Injury Partnership and Norwegian People’s Aid, EXTRACCT has developed several resources for use in the CFAR Curriculum.
